The General Visual Line of Sight Certificate
Obtain your GVC (General Visual Line of Sight Certificate) so you can fly lawfully in the UK specific category by obtaining an Operational Authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority.
The GVC & Operational Authorisation are crucial for those flight operations using larger drones such as ones from the DJI Matrice & Inspire Series, or for those more complex flights.
Online Presenter
Former CAA Drone Sector Lead, Andrew Hamilton
Our online GVC theory course is presented by Andrew Hamilton. Andrew was the UAS Lead for the Civil Aviation Authority, overseeing all aspects of drone use in UK airspace.
Prior to Joining the CAA, Andrew developed and led the first UK Policing drone team, pioneering how they benefit policing every day.
